DIR-ACT was founded in April 2010 and is the global online platform for acts in five different categories (art, play, music, dance and words) and bookers looking for these acts. At the start in October 2010 the focus of DIR-ACT is on the areas where English and Dutch are the main languages. A few months later versions in French, German, Italian, Spanish and other languages will follow. As soon as possible the world becomes the playfield of DIR-ACT; DIR-ACT wants to become the worldwide most used platform of its kind for seekers, bookers and acts.

Fully automated different efficient tools are presented on this platform (publicity, agenda management, terms, contracts, etc.). DIR-ACT presents a smart search engine and an automated reservation system: direct, quick and transparent.

On a daily base acts are looking for gigs, worldwide. Every day people around the world are looking for acts. By the online platform of DIR-ACT both groups come together. Whether it concerns a band for a festival, a clown for a children's party, a trumpeter for a ceremony or a dance group to support a singer. Everyone uses DIR-ACT to present their acts or book them, on fixed terms and at a fixed price.

Management Team

Founders and Ceo's: M.A.H. Janssen-Middelkoop (Madelon) and drs. A.M.J.M. Janssen (Arno). Together at the cradle of DIR-ACT and both responsible for the online platform and the ideas and features behind it.

Madelon (1972), Ceo Finance and Public Relations, since high school mainly worked in tourism. From this background has a major contribution to the methods of accounting, booking, valuating, search-engine, etc. Madelon is the face of DIR-ACT and responsable for the front-office.

Arno (1964), Ceo Legal and Strategic Vision, has a university background and years of experience in a legal, managerial, organizational and strategic field. He also has roots in the music industry and is also composer and lyricist. After a study (the search for chances for creative talent in the musical industry) an idea like DIR-ACT came up as one of the possible solutions for the musical industry.
